Demystify OS

Glossary

The terms used for Demystify OS and Mysty, each defined in a sentence or two. Status words mean what they say: Available, Beta, Early access, Planned or On the roadmap.

Demystify OS
Demystify OS is the Business OS being built by Demystify Systems: you tell Mysty what the business needs, approve what matters, and get a receipt for every action. It is an invite-only beta from 1 November 2026, with public launch planned for 1 January 2027. It comes in three editions: Community, Cloud and Private.
Mysty
Mysty is the name of Demystify's AI. It answers on chat and on the phone, and does governed work for a business as Mysty Workers. Mysty chat is available; Mysty Voice and Mysty Workers are early access.
Mysty Workers
Mysty Workers is the public name of the AI workforce, governed workers that do real work for a business. Each Worker has a budget. It warns at 80% and stops at 100%, so a runaway loop cannot run up a bill.
Mysty Desk
Mysty Desk is where you brief, approve and check Mysty's work. It runs Demystify Systems itself today; a customer's desk opens with their invite.
Mysty Pod
Mysty Pod is the private edition of Demystify OS (Demystify OS Private), run on your own hardware. It is on the roadmap.
Demystify Assure
Demystify Assure is the compliance product in the Demystify OS family. It is planned from 31 December 2026; it is not available yet.
Customer zero
Customer zero means Demystify Systems runs on its own products first. Demystify OS runs the company today, and customers are invited onto it after that. The figures that describe it carry their counting date and basis on the Demystify OS home page.
Maker and checker
Maker and checker is a control where one party does the work and a different party reviews it before it counts. Each Mysty worker has a maker-checker partner, and anything that goes to production is approved by a person.
Governed AI
Governed AI is AI that works inside rules its owner sets and can check: a spending budget that stops it, approvals before anything consequential, a tamper-evident log of what it did, and a way to switch it off.
Kill switch
A kill switch is a control that stops every AI worker at once. In Mysty Workers every agent action passes one gate (kill switch, pause, policy, autonomy floors, default-deny approval), and one tap stops all of them.
