Demystify OS for Jewellers
Jewellers: Jewellery showrooms and goldsmith workshops, such as a family partnership firm with a counter, a workshop and karigars.
Demystify OS lists 6 workflows for this industry, each step with the proof you check, and none of them is generally available yet.
Every status on this page is shown as recorded: available, in beta, early access, on the roadmap, or on request.
Demystify OS Cloud Starter, 25 people: from ₹14,999 a month plus GST.
Demystify OS Cloud is an invite-only beta from 1 November 2026, public from 1 January 2027.
The moment that matters
A customer stands at the counter with old gold and a bridal order, and you must work out the rate, the making, the wastage and the balance on the spot, while gold is also out with karigars.
What Demystify OS runs for Jewellers
Counted on 2 November 2026. A job we have not built is shown as on the roadmap, never as live.
Workflows
Day's rate sheet
Early accessSet the day's metal rate once. Type the day's rate on the rates screen. Items carry metal, purity, making and wastage, and stored prices follow the rate.
Proof: One rate drives the price.
Done by: Industry pack
Ready-to-print jewellery bill
Early accessBill with weight, purity, making and GST. Raise one invoice with karat, making and wastage lines and GST. Every line prints on the bill.
Proof: The bill carries weight, purity, making and GST lines.
Done by: Industry pack
Old gold balance note
Early accessNet the customer's old gold against a bill. Open old gold against an existing invoice and see the balance netted. It asks for the posting accounts to be set before you start.
Proof: Old gold is booked in the ledger with the bill.
Done by: Industry pack
Gold-with-karigars list
Early accessIssue gold to a karigar and take it back. Issue a job order with a challan, receive the work back with wastage, and keep the karigar ledger.
Proof: Gold issued to a karigar is recorded against a job order and a challan.
Done by: Industry pack
Shop price refresh
Early accessPut your own shop website online. Create a shop in the Website hub, apply a look, and show stored prices with the rate strip. A shop needs your own domain.
Proof: Your shop page shows your stored prices. The order path has not been tested end to end.
Done by: Finocket
Item list import check
Early accessBring your item list from a spreadsheet. Load items from a spreadsheet with the generic importer.
Proof: Items load from a spreadsheet through the generic importer.
Done by: Demystify Migrate

You approve
Approvals themselves are in beta, invite-only. Each card approves the work of an agent that is on the roadmap for this industry, so each is shown as planned.
- On the roadmap
Approve or reject the bill with its weight, purity, making and GST lines
- On the roadmap
Approve or reject the old gold balance before it is booked
- On the roadmap
Approve or reject a received job order when wastage is above what was agreed
Memory and governance
One memory for every agent, and the controls around it.
Once for all agents: the day's metal rates, each item's metal, purity, making and wastage, the wastage agreed with each karigar, and the posting accounts for old gold.
Memory fabric
Built, not launched to customersOne memory shared by every agent: your parties, items, price lists and decisions are held once, with where each came from, so an agent does not ask you the same thing again.
Approvals
In beta, invite-onlyAnything with a consequence waits for you. You tap approve or reject on your phone, and Mysty acts only after you do.
Evidence ledger
Built, not launched to customersEvery action leaves a receipt, and the receipts are kept in one ledger you can check later, for your own auditor.
Guardrails
Built, not launched to customersEach agent has one role, a limit on what it may do and a named checker. Nobody marks their own work done. Money, publishing and outreach stay a person's decision.
Time and errors back: how you will see it
Measure first, then compare. Your own four weeks are the only baseline that counts. We print no promised saving.
Time
Rate, bill and old gold sit in one workspace.
Errors
Weights, purity and making are lines on the bill, not figures worked out aside.
Control
Gold issued to karigars is recorded against a job order and a challan.
- Before you start
- For four weeks before you switch on, keep a sheet. One line each for a bill corrected or reversed, a karigar job order still out at month end, and each invoice raised.
- Every month after
- Each month, read the same counts again and compare them to your four-week baseline.
- Who reads it
- Owner, with the workshop head.
- Where it shows
- Each metric below names where its number comes from; where it says a manual count, keep that count in a sheet.
Metrics to adopt: how the business runs
| Metric | What it is | Formula | Where the number comes from | How often | Better is |

Start with a four-week baseline
- Step 1. Enter today's metal rate and your fastest-moving items with metal, purity, making and wastage. Check the stored price against your own rate slip.
- Step 2. Raise your next bills in Finocket, including any old gold, and keep a hand count of bills you had to correct.
- Step 3. Issue your next karigar job orders through Finocket with a challan, and note the wastage agreed on each so you can compare when the work comes back.
What OS does not do for you yet
Today's rate is typed by hand and is not a live feed. HUID is a typed field on the invoice line and is not tied to each piece. Old gold works on a separate screen against an existing bill, not inside the till. Live-rate pricing in the shop, savings schemes, gift cards and shopper digital gold are not available.
The jewellers source is thin. There is no use-case map and no capability matrix. The demo kit and checklist were read from code and documents, and the demo kit says nothing live was measured, so every job is BUILT at most and some screens depend on switches and applied data tables. Metrics have no ready-made report in the sources, so most are a manual count. The shop path has not been run end to end in a browser. Fewer jobs and benefits are written on purpose.
