Demystify OS for Textile process

Textile process: A weaving or composite mill, a grey or finished-fabric trader, a process house that dyes or prints for others, or a textile chemicals maker.

Demystify OS lists 6 workflows for this industry, each step with the proof you check, and 3 of them are available today.

Every status on this page is shown as recorded: available, in beta, early access, on the roadmap, or on request.

Demystify OS Cloud Starter, 25 people: from ₹14,999 a month plus GST.

Demystify OS Cloud is an invite-only beta from 1 November 2026, public from 1 January 2027.

The moment that matters

A trader is on the phone for more grey, and the mill owner does not know what that trader already owes, or how much of his own grey is still lying at the process houses.

What Demystify OS runs for Textile process

Counted on 2 November 2026. A job we have not built is shown as on the roadmap, never as live.

Workflows

  • Piece cost sheet

    Available

Cost a finished piece from yarn. Build a multi-stage recipe, yarn to grey to finished fabric or saree, and see what one piece costs.

Proof: The cost of a finished piece is worked out from the recipe in Finocket.

    Done by: Finocket

  • Slow-step report

    Available

Run work orders and see the slow step. Move a work order through its routing and see which work centre is holding the rest up.

Proof: Work-order status shows which work centre is holding the rest up.

    Done by: Finocket

  • Run shrinkage note

    Early access

Record yield and shrinkage per run. Record what each production run put in and brought out, so shrinkage and short length sit on the run.

Proof: Shrinkage is a run record you can compare, not a typed figure on a bill.

    Done by: Finocket

  • Grey-at-process-houses list

    Early access

Know what sits at each process house. Send grey on a challan and see the material lying with each job worker, by lot and by age.

Proof: Grey sent on a challan is listed by lot and age.

    Done by: Finocket

  • Trader dues summary

    Available

Warn at invoice entry on trader credit. See a trader's outstanding and credit position, with a warning when you enter a new invoice.

Proof: The trader's dues show at invoice entry. It warns; it does not block.

    Done by: Finocket

  • Agent commission statement draft

    Early access

Prepare the agent commission statement. Prepare the commission statement for each agent for a period, tied to what was collected.

Proof: The commission statement is prepared from what was collected.

    Done by: Finocket

Routines

  • Four-week baseline, then a monthly read

    Early access

Cadence: Four weeks first, then every month

You receive: Each metric below names where its number comes from; where it says a manual count, keep that count in a sheet.

Integrations and distribution channels

  • Web

    On the roadmap

A no-login link where a trader sees his statement and open invoices. The source marks this as partly built, so it is planned here.

    Through: Finocket

  • CRM

    On the roadmap

Keep each trader's dues, credit position and agent in one record that the team reads before billing.

    Through: Finocket

  • Outreach

    On the roadmap

    Through: Connector Hub

You approve

Approvals themselves are in beta, invite-only. Each card approves the work of an agent that is on the roadmap for this industry, so each is shown as planned.

  • On the roadmap

Approve or reject the agent commission statement before it goes to the dalal

  • On the roadmap

Approve or send back a credit note raised for a wrong rate or quantity

  • On the roadmap

Accept or reject a mismatch flagged on a returned challan

Memory and governance

One memory for every agent, and the controls around it.

Once, for every agent: each trader's credit position and agent, each product's yarn-to-fabric recipe, each process house, and the lot and date every grey challan went out.

  • Memory fabric

    Built, not launched to customers

One memory shared by every agent: your parties, items, price lists and decisions are held once, with where each came from, so an agent does not ask you the same thing again.

  • Approvals

    In beta, invite-only

Anything with a consequence waits for you. You tap approve or reject on your phone, and Mysty acts only after you do.

  • Evidence ledger

    Built, not launched to customers

Every action leaves a receipt, and the receipts are kept in one ledger you can check later, for your own auditor.

  • Guardrails

    Built, not launched to customers

Each agent has one role, a limit on what it may do and a named checker. Nobody marks their own work done. Money, publishing and outreach stay a person's decision.

Time and errors back: how you will see it

Measure first, then compare. Your own four weeks are the only baseline that counts. We print no promised saving.

  • Time

Cost sheets, work-order status and agent statements come from records already in Finocket.

  • Errors

Shrinkage and yield sit on the run record instead of a typed figure on a bill.

  • Cash

A credit warning shows at invoice entry, and a trader statement lists what is owed.

  • Control

Material lying at each job worker is listed by lot and age.

Before you start
For four weeks before turning OS on, count in a sheet: what each trader still owes, invoices with a credit note for a wrong rate or quantity, and agent commission statements that were reversed or reissued.
Every month after
Each month, read the same counts again and compare them to your four-week baseline.
Who reads it
Owner or mill manager, with the accountant.
Where it shows
Each metric below names where its number comes from; where it says a manual count, keep that count in a sheet.

Metrics to adopt: how the business runs

  • Trader outstanding

    What it is
For each trader, the sum of what is still unpaid on their invoices, where a fully paid or overpaid invoice adds nothing.
    Formula
sum of what is still unpaid on each invoice, per trader
    Where the number comes from
Finocket trader outstanding and credit position
    How often
    monthly
    Better is
    lower

Errors: count them as errors over transactions

  • Credit notes for wrong rate or quantity

    What it is
Share of the invoices raised in the period that carry a credit note tagged as a wrong rate or quantity.
    Formula
invoices with a credit note for a wrong rate or quantity / invoices raised x 100
    Where the number comes from
Finocket credit notes; the reason is a manual count: not captured today
    How often
    monthly
    Better is
    lower
    One error is
One invoice that has a credit note raised to correct a wrong rate or quantity counts as one error, however many credit notes touch it. Count only invoices raised in the period you are measuring.
  • Commission statements redone

    What it is
Share of the agent commission statements prepared in the period that were reversed or reissued afterwards, each statement counted once.
    Formula
statements reversed or reissued / statements prepared x 100
    Where the number comes from
    manual count: not captured today
    How often
    monthly
    Better is
    lower
    One error is
One agent statement reversed or reissued after preparation counts as one error. A statement that was only viewed or annotated does not count. Count only statements prepared in the period you are measuring.

Start with a four-week baseline

  1. Step 1. Pick one product line and write down its yarn-to-fabric recipe so Finocket can cost it.
  2. Step 2. For four weeks, keep a sheet of credit notes for wrong rate or quantity, and of agent statements you had to redo.
  3. Step 3. List every process house holding your grey today, with the lot and the date it went out.

What OS does not do for you yet

OS does not yet keep a dye lot card with recipe and shade approval, a trader shade-card ordering page, or a working for the inverted-duty refund, and it picks no tax rate for dyeing job charges for you.

The source marks several of these as built but gated, so stages are BUILT, not LIVE. Its regulatory rows are candidates, so no tax or regulatory claim is made. Error counts are manual until the reason is captured.
