Demystify Business OS Guide

Turn a recurring task into reviewed work

Understand the work, choose your controls, and see what comes next.

Early access

Start with a recurring business task, define its inputs and decide who may approve the result. Demystify OS is designed to connect records, skills and Mysty Workers around that task. During the invite-only beta, agree the scope and review evidence with a person before expanding permissions or relying on unattended work.

Updated 4 November 2026. Early access: invite-only beta since 1 November 2026.

Run your business: the approach, step by step

  1. Describe the work

Name the outcome, the source records and the person responsible. Begin with read-only access where practical.

  2. Set the boundary

Agree which steps may draft, which require checking and which need a person's approval. Keep spending and access within the agreed scope.

  3. Review before repeating

Check the result and activity record. Change the routine only after understanding what worked and what needs correction.

How do I join?

Apply for the invite-only beta. A person reads every application. The beta began on 1 November 2026.

When is Community planned?

Public launch and the Community edition are targeted for 1 January 2027. Plans change; dates are targets, not promises.

Is Demystify OS certified?

Designed with ISO 27001 and SOC II in mind. Not certified. Audit readiness is planned for Q1 2027.

How do skills become routines?

A skill describes a repeatable piece of work. A routine adds a trigger or cadence. A workflow connects steps and their approval boundaries. Confirm what is supported in your beta workspace.

How are integrations described?

Catalogue connections, integrations built with defined scopes, and planned connections are separate categories. A listing alone is not proof of a working connection.

Operating areas and human gates

Company operations can prepare finance, vendor and compliance work for review. Engineering can prepare changes and release evidence. Growth and customer operations can draft communications and support responses. People retain authority over payments, contracts, publishing, hiring, releases and sensitive access.

The founders' use cases

A technical founder can ask for sales-call preparation, proposals, engineering briefs and escalation summaries. An operations founder can review content, partner work, customer health and people tasks. These are intended use cases; no personal schedule or independent worker performance is claimed.

Mysty Desk: brief, cards and numbers

The workspace direction combines a brief, approval cards with evidence and business indicators. Nudges, delegation and stronger confirmation should be scoped to the action. Do not assume every channel or dashboard is available in a beta workspace.

An illustrative working day

Begin with a brief and pending decisions. Review department updates, inspect proposals during the day, and close with an outcome summary. At month end, reconcile work and costs against the activity record. This is an example operating rhythm, not a measured run or service schedule.

Systems and people

Candidate tasks include reconciling records, checking access, preparing onboarding and offboarding checklists, assembling payroll inputs and recording policy acknowledgements. Agree the underlying system permissions and which steps need a person's approval.

Money and customers

Candidate tasks include drafting invoices and collection reminders, preparing cash summaries, triaging support and assembling follow-up drafts. Sending a message, changing a record or releasing money needs the agreed approval boundary.

Compliance and leadership

Candidate tasks include collecting evidence, preparing access reviews and vendor questions, tracking statutory tasks and assembling management briefs. A worker cannot sign a contract, attest to an auditor or become the responsible business decision-maker.

Channels and delegation

Messaging and publishing depend on platform approvals, account permissions and consent. Establish the approver, scope, expiry and escalation path for delegation. A notification is not approval, and a proposed channel is not a working integration.
